Bette Davis - a Personal Biography

I like to read about people like this with an open mind. Bette Davis was a very interesting actress and a very good one. I especially liked the part at the end when she looked back on her life and expressed herself on different issues.

    Another Country

This was an excellent book about elderly people. I wish every one of my children would read it. I 'm going to buy a copy of it, I enjoyed it so much. The author is Mary Pipher, Ph.D.
She talks about how relationships among us become more complex and difficult just when they need to be the closest and strongest. Many of us realize that we are also lacking a useful way to think about growing older ourselves. We need new ways of supporting one another--new ways of sharing our time and our energy and our love. Good Read!!

    The Hundred Dresses

    The Hundred Dresses
    by Eleanor Estes

This is such a cute book. I think all young readers should read it. It is such a good lesson on respect for others. Our RS wanted all of us to read it as part of our Enrichment Christmas Party. Then we are suppose to donate a NEW dress to the Dove C.
